Fury Vs. Joshua Receives Multiple Offers For Possible Location

Last month, we got the news that the long-awaited unification battle between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury was finally going to happen as both fighters and people from their camps have signed to make it happen.

This brought great joy to the boxing world. Everything seemed finally perfect, except for a few problems; there was no date or location for the fight yet. So, as good as the news was, the fact that it did not hold the very important details made it look very empty. What good is a fight without a venue or possible date?

But now, Eddie Hearn, who is Joshua’s promoter, has come out to say that there are multiple offers on ground now for the fighters to choose from. He said, “At the end of this week both fighters and the teams will be presented with all the offers and options on the table, which there will be multiple ones. We’re in a good place. I saw John Fury’s comments. It’s almost like they don’t want the fight. I’d like them to talk it up, rather than talk it down. We’re quite aware that there has been a global pandemic. We’re quite aware that it’s not easy, but we’re out there grafting away every day to get this done. A little bit of support would be nice, John and Tyson, thank you very much. As I said, there will be around three or four offers presented to both camps this weekend, and then it’s over to them and the teams to discuss which one we want to take. The dates of those fights.”

For Hearn, he is very confident that the fight would hold this year during the summer. John Fury, Tyson’s father, has criticised the effort of the negotiation, something that Hearn has not taken very lightly.

Some possible fight locations include Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Qatar, China, and Duba, and the fight is expected to take place in July.
