Tyson Fury confident he can beat Jon Jones

Tyson Fury has expressed immense confidence that he would emerge victorious if he and Jon Jones ever stepped in a ring together. The British boxer took to social media to make his opinion known to the world while addressing some other issues as well.

The subject of Fury’s latest rant was none other than Joe Rogan. Rogan had made a prediction, stating that if Jones and Fury were confined to a room together, the UFC heavyweight champion would dominate Fury.

Fury, fueled by determination, wasted no time in firing back at Rogan. While pacing the hallways of his gym, he unleashed a verbal assault riddled with expletives on Rogan, referring to him as a “little p****” and a “bald-headed midget.” Fury declared that no man, including Jon Jones, could defeat him in a one-on-one encounter. He firmly stated that regardless of the circumstances within that room, he would emerge as the victor.

To ensure that Rogan was aware of his response, Fury made sure to tag the well-known UFC commentator and podcast host in an Instagram story, bringing the rant directly to him.

Rogan’s comments were sparked during a conversation with comedian Andrew Schultz, where he revealed that even the current heavyweight boxing champion, Fury, didn’t believe he could defeat Jones in a fight.

In Rogan’s own words, he expressed his confidence in Jones, stating, “If Jon Jones and Tyson Fury were locked in a room, I would bet everything on Jones. Tyson Fury is an exceptional boxer, but his chances of surviving in that room are slim to none. Unless he lands an immediate knockout punch on Jones, which I highly doubt, the threat of Jones’ takedown is too significant. Once Jones wraps his hands around you, you’ll be left in a state of shock.”

Fury had previously shown interest in a potential matchup against former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, even calling for a fight with smaller gloves. The two athletes even engaged in a face-off inside the ring after Fury’s victory over Dillian Whyte. However, over time, the possibility of the fight materializing diminished.
