Liverpool have completed the signing of France forward Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain in a deal worth up to £123m. 

The 23-year-old has signed a five-year contract at Anfield after Liverpool agreed to pay an initial £106m, with a further £17m available in potential add-ons.

Barcola becomes Liverpool’s fifth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Victor Munoz, Jeremy Jacquet, Ronald Araujo and Ifeanyi Ndukwe. 

The forward, who will wear the number 29 shirt, said he was delighted to finally complete the move and is targeting Premier League success with his new club.

The France international primarily operates from the left wing but is capable of playing across the forward line. 

His arrival is expected to strengthen Liverpool’s attacking options following Mohamed Salah’s departure, Hugo Ekitike’s long-term injury and uncertainty surrounding Cody Gakpo’s future at Anfield.

Barcola enjoyed a productive campaign with PSG last season, scoring 13 goals and providing seven assists in 49 appearances across all competitions. 

He also played in all eight of France’s matches at the 2026 World Cup, scoring three goals as Les Bleus reached the third-place play-off.

The forward joined PSG from Lyon in 2023 for a reported £38.5m and went on to win three Ligue 1 titles, two Champions League trophies, two French Cups, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup. 

Liverpool’s £123m package also includes a payment covering the solidarity contribution PSG owe Lyon from his original transfer.

Barcola’s statistics underline Liverpool’s reasons for making such a significant investment. 

He averaged 3.5 shots per 90 minutes in Ligue 1 last season and recorded an expected goals figure of 9.83, while his ability to carry the ball into dangerous areas and win possession high up the pitch fits the intensity expected from Liverpool’s attacking players.

His debut for Liverpool could come away against Ipswich Town in the Premier League on Friday.
