Celtic show interest in signing Lille star

According to reports emanating in France, Celtic have shown their desire in snapping up Lille youngster Fadiga Ouattara this summer following a disagreement with his employer’s over contracts issues.

The attacker has been sought after an impressive performance for Lille at various levels of competition. Celtic are not the only club interested in the player as Ouattara is courted by the likes  of in Leipzig and Valencia

Indeed there might be confusion over his deal as its unsure if his current contract will expire this year or summer of 2021 as several news outlets are hesitant.

There 18-year old has scored in six UEFA league matches this season but yet to make his first-team start for Lille considering his undoubted talent and potential to become prolific in the goal-scoring department.

Ouattara is of dual nationality as he has the option of playing for either France or the Ivory Coast. He made a move to Lille from rivals Lens in 2017 and has since then become so instrumental for the youth team.

The Hoops always have had an interest in french players as they hope to develop the 18-year-old .just as they this with Odsonne Edouard, Christopher Jullien, and Lyon’s Moussa Dembele in past years.

A move to Celtic will sound more materialistic and rewarding as they will look to Offer him, the first team, .opporturnties he deserves. However, Lennon must look to fight for his signature, getting him will be a significant addition to the attacking ranks.
