Cristiano Ronaldo Could Return to Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo has a great appreciation for the Red Devils, which made him known internationally.

Since his departure from Old Trafford in 2009, Ronaldo has left the door open for a possible return to the Premier League.

The player has admitted that he is in close contact with boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and has also said that he would like to return to Man U before hanging up his boots.

According to several rumors, Ronaldo’s return to Old Trafford could be close to happening. Juventus failed to win Serie A last season, the first time in 10 years, the Turin team failed to secure the Scudetto.

The lack of silverware, the club’s financial problems, and the high cost of keeping a player like Ronaldo would make the club’s hierarchy consider the idea of selling the Portuguese player.

But the club cannot sell Ronaldo so easily, as it seems that the player has special treatment and he is the one who has the last word.

In fact, former Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri implied that it was difficult to deal with Ronaldo because of his power within the club. “The management of Ronaldo is not easy, also because there are interests behind him. To tell the truth, I think I’m better at being a coach and not a manager. I find it boring and I enjoy it more on the pitch.” Sarri told Sportitalia.

Despite the rumors and the player’s interest in returning to Old Trafford, it seems unlikely that this move will materialize this season.

The Red Devils have just signed Jadon Sancho and are close to signing Raphael Varane, which represents a significant drain on the club’s budget and leaves the club’s coffers empty for a move for Ronaldo.
