Dejan Kulusevski to stay at Tottenham if certain conditions are met

Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur are likely to retain Swedish forward Dejan Kulusevski at the end of the season if certain conditions are met.

Dejan Kulusevski joined Tottenham Hotspur on loan from Juventus, and a permanent deal looks likely after what has been a very productive start to life at the new White Hart Lane.

The 22-year-old has scored six goals in 29 games since moving to London in January, and Antonio Conte’s side is ready to pay up to £31 million for the striker if they make it to the UEFA Champions League next season.

However, there will still be an option to buy even if Spurs do not make it to the UEFA Champions League. Reports indicate that Tottenham will be under the obligation to buy if Kulusevski makes 20 Premier League games.

Tottenham are expected to complete the deal in the summer, and it is expected that the player is also looking forward to staying in North London.

The player is known to have stated that he wishes to leave Italy after claiming that something didn’t work well at the Old Ladies.

‘I always go and always went to the pitch with full commitment. However, at Juventus, something didn’t work regardless of how much I worked. I like to look forward rather than backward. I wasn’t okay at Juventus for many reasons, and when you realize things don’t work, it’s hard to change direction in the same environment. The decision to leave Italy was the best I could make in that situation.’ Kulusevski said.

Dejan Kulusevski was involved in the last two international matches for Sweden as they lost 4-1 to Serbia and drew 1-1 with Slovenia.

He’s also expected to be a part when Arsenal and Tottenham face off in the North London derby at the weekend.
