Di Maria finally accepts Juventus move

Indications have shown that Angel Di Maria has finally accepted to move to Serie A giants, Juventus. This is good news for the Turin giants that have been chasing the Argentine winger.

According to multiple sources, Juventus is about to finalize the details of his contract. The 34-year-old is a free agent after leaving Paris Saint-Germain, and he is being monitored by some top clubs.

After a seven-year spell at Parc des Princes, Di Maria now seemed to be close to Juve. He had delayed the move after Barcelona came in with a proposal, and he needed time to think about the situation with his family.

This had left the Bianconeri frustrated, and they saw several deadlines come and go.But the latest report by La Gazzetta dello Sport and La Stampa shows that he has finally given a positive response. It is claimed they are finalizing his contract.

The Bianconeri were frustrated and saw several deadlines come and go, but now La Gazzetta dello Sport and La Stampa both report he has finally given a response, and it is positive. As it stands, both parties are now working out the final details of the deal worth €7m per season. This means the winger could be in Turin for a medical soon.

Di Maria wants a one-year contract with an option for a second. He is planning to go back to Argentina after the 2022 World Cup, where he wants to end his career. Being a left-footer who likes playing primarily from the right-wing of attack, Di Maria can also work on the left or in a trequartista role behind the strikers.

During his final season with PSG, Di Maria scored five goals and provided nine assists in 31 competitive games.
