The forward now prepares to face his Liverpool teammate Cody Gakpo when the Netherlands take on Sweden in a vital Group F fixture on Saturday.
Gakpo has cautioned that his side must remain vigilant against Isak, who posed a significant threat in Sweden’s convincing victory.

This comes after Isak’s debut season at Anfield was severely disrupted by a leg fracture that kept him sidelined for more than four months.
The Liverpool forward stated that everyone was aware of Isak’s quality and emphasized that the Netherlands needed to pay special attention to him.
With the Netherlands failing to secure a win at the start of a challenging group, Gakpo acknowledged the limited margin for error.
He added that his team knew they had to win their matches because they were determined to progress from the group stage.
