Jeremy Doku hails Manchester City’s win over Nottingham Forest

Manchester City have finally ended their dismal run of results with a convincing 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest. The victory, which marked City’s first win in eight games in all competitions, was a huge relief for the squad. Winger, Jeremy Doku, who scored and assisted a goal to seal the win, admitted that the team had been waiting for this victory for a long time.

Doku praised his teammate Erling Haaland, who played a crucial role in City’s win despite not scoring. Haaland’s defense-splitting pass set up Doku’s goal, and the Norwegian striker was seen screaming for the ball as Doku sprinted toward the area.

The win over Forest has trimmed City’s gap with league leaders Liverpool to nine points. Doku acknowledged that the team had been under pressure to deliver a win, but insisted that they had blocked out all criticism of their performances during the winless run.

“We just don’t listen. At the end of the day, when everything goes well, they’re going to hype you up. When everything goes bad, you’re the worst. We don’t listen; we concentrate on ourselves in our bubble.” He said.

Doku also expressed his confidence that City can still overhaul Liverpool’s lead and win the Premier League title. City’s next match is against Crystal Palace on Saturday, and Doku is hoping that the team can build on their win over Forest. “We recover tomorrow and hope to continue this,” he said. With their confidence restored, City will be looking to make a strong push for the title in the coming weeks.

The win over Forest has given City a much-needed boost, and Doku’s comments suggest that the team is determined to make a strong finish to the season. With Haaland and Doku leading the charge, City will be hoping to make a serious challenge for the title in the coming months.
