Juventus are making plans to offload striker Dusan Vlahovic in a bid to avoid losing him on a free transfer next summer, while also planning to sell Weston McKennie this summer.
Reports by the Gazzetta dello Sport say the Bianconeri would consider a straight sale at a discounted price or a potential extension followed by a loan move to revive his form.
With just a year left on his current contract, Juventus, amidst recent rumours, indicated that the player does not mind running down his final year in Bianconeri colours before leaving as a free agent.
However, this solution seems to be the only optimal one for the Old Lady, who paid over €70 million for the striker who joined from Fiorentina with bonuses in 2022.
According to Gazzetta, Juventus are open to selling the player for just €25 million outright, a huge loss if this is not feasible. But the club could activate an adding another year clause in his contract before loaning him out, hoping that the player’s form bounces back and the situation can be reassessed next summer.
Meanwhile, Juventus are also planning to sell McKennie before the summer closes.
According to reports from Italy, the Old Lady decided after talks over a contract extension stalled due to excessive agent commissions.
TMW reported that the US international’s future with the Bianconeri appears to be hanging in the balance, and the club could be prepared to accept an offer in the region of €15-20 million.
Due to his current form, Juventus were planning to offer the American a new deal, and talks were progressing well. The reports even suggested that the proposal, worth around €3 million per season until 2028, was viewed positively by the player and his representatives before the recent development.
According to Tuttosport, the excessive commissions requested by his agents stalled the deal, and things also changed again when Cristiano Giuntoli left his role as sporting director, with all current offers being taken off the table.
