Juventus are about to sign Canadian international Jonathan David, after reaching an agreement with the striker.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Juventus has resumed talks with David’s agent, and the Bianconeri are close to reaching an agreement with the Canadian.
Fabrizio Romano reported that the Turin club, last week, reached a verbal agreement with the 25-year-old over a €6 6m-a-year deal plus add-ons.
What’s left is for the Serie A giants to reach a complete agreement with the player’s entourage over agent fees.
Reports also said negotiations between Juventus and the player’s agents continued on Tuesday and considerable progress have been made by both parties.
Meanwhile, Juventus are also in talks with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, as also reported last week.
Sky Sport Italia says the Old Lady’s plan is to sign the duo, retain Randal Kolo Muani, and sell Dusan Vlahovic this summer.
The Bianconeri, because of this development, are trying to push Vlahovic towards the exit.
With the David transfer almost resolved, they have resumed intensive negotiations with Osimhen’s entourage.
The Nigerian striker has a €75 m release clause, which is only valid for clubs outside of Italy. So, they have to negotiate directly with their Serie A rivals.
Meanwhile, Al Qadsiah have also started pushing harder to get the former Lille striker despite Juve reaching an agreement with him.
Marco Conterio of Tuttomercatoweb claims that they are ready to pay €15m in commission to his agent and a huge salary for the player, although the representative is reportedly asking for €25m.
Al Qadsiah shifted their attention from Moise Kean, whom they have been heavily linked with and are ready to activate his €52m release clause, but the Italy international is not interested in a Saudi Pro League move right now.
In a few days, Juventus are expected to announce the new signings.
