Everyone standing here, you [the fans] should give them [players] a wonderful applause as well. Let’s forget that it’s the second [title] in 35 years, it’s the second in five years.” Slot said.
Liverpool’s latest triumph cements their status among England’s elite, drawing them level with Manchester United on 20 league titles. As celebrations continue, the victory marks not just the end of a successful season, but the start of a new era under Slot, as Liverpool fans dream of continued glory.
Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will now face Crystal Palace who beat Aston Villa 3-0 on Saturday in the FA Cup final. Manchester City defeated Nottingham Forest 2-0 on Sunday to secure the ticket.
