Multiple clubs chase the signature of Nigerian forward

A lot of top European clubs are entering the race to sign Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman.

Lookman, currently playing for Atalanta, has caught the eye of many due to his excellent performances in Serie A. His speed, dribbling skills, and versatility in attack have made him a sought-after player. Juventus has already shown interest, especially after reports of a disagreement between Lookman and Atalanta’s coach, Gian Piero Gasperini, over a missed penalty. Now, Inter Milan is also making moves to sign the Nigerian star.

According to Italian media outlets, Inter’s interest in Lookman might depend on whether they can sell some of their current attackers, including Marcus Thuram, this summer. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain is expected to renew their interest in Lookman after failing to sign him last year. Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool are also keeping a close eye on the situation, which could lead to a bidding war when the summer transfer window opens.

Lookman’s future at Atalanta is uncertain, and the next few months will be crucial in deciding whether he stays in Italy or moves elsewhere. Atalanta would prefer to sell him to a club outside Italy, giving Premier League teams an advantage.

Liverpool, Tottenham, and Chelsea are all interested in Lookman, with offers reportedly around 45 million euros plus bonuses. Lookman, who is not satisfied at Atalanta, is eager to move to the Premier League. Liverpool sees him as a great addition to their attack, Tottenham wants more attacking options after an inconsistent season, and Chelsea sees him as a key part of their rebuilding plans.

Despite the competition, Lookman’s camp has made it clear that he wants to play in the Premier League. The offers from the English clubs make him a top priority for the summer transfer market. Atalanta now has to decide whether to accept these offers or hold on to Lookman. The next chapter of his career could very well be in the Premier League, where he hopes to continue his impressive form.
