La Liga leaders Real Madrid have released the squad list for their team’s trip to SC Braga in Portugal for Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League fixture. The Los Blancos have managed a 100% record in the competition so far this season, winning in their first two games against German side Union Berlin and Italian side Napoli after a 1-0 victory at Santiago Bernabeu and a 3-2 win away in Naples, respectively.
After the international break, Carlo Ancelotti’s side returned to action with a 1-1 draw against Sevilla at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on Saturday. Real Madrid has the luxury of the majority of their key players, with star player this season Jude Bellingham traveling with the squad alongside Toni Kroos, Modric, Camavinga, Federico Valverde and Tchouameni.
The front line has Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, and Joselu, while there is no problem in the defense and goalkeeper departments, with Kepa Arrizabalaga alongside David Alaba and Rudiger all making the team.
All eyes will be on the possible lineup that Carlo Ancelotti will decide to go with on Tuesday, with the El Clasico coming up at the weekend.
SC Braga manager Arthur Jorge has explained that the game will be a difficult one for his team, especially facing the Los Blancos, who are led by Carlo Ancelotti, one of the best tacticians in the world.
“I have a great respect for him. He is a man of football. He is a tremendous coach of great technical-tactical quality; he is a reference for any technician worldwide for everything he has achieved. He is fully updated and continues to succeed at the highest level. It’s a great challenge for us. We know that we are facing one of the best teams in the world, and we are proud to be able to compete at this level.” Jorge said.
