Roy Keane Baffled By Ian Wright’s Bold Prediction Against Manchester United

Manchester United’s upcoming clash against Everton has ignited debates, notably Ian Wright’s bold prediction foreseeing a 3-0 victory for Everton against the Red Devils at Goodison Park, leaving Roy Keane baffled by the assertion.

Wright’s prediction on the Stick to Football podcast led to a fiery exchange with Keane, who expressed disbelief, saying, “The atmosphere won’t turn them into f*****g into Barcelona! It’s still the same players.”

Wright doubled down on his forecast, confidently stating, “This Everton side with how they are going to feel against this United side, I fancy them. I’d go 3-1, no, 3-0 Everton.”

Keane, taken aback by Wright’s conviction, retorted, “If United score the first goal, they will be booing them… At home, they are still a bit dodgy.”

Ultimately, Keane and Wright settled on a 2-2 draw in their predictions against those of Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher.

Additionally, concerns loom over Manchester United potentially losing key defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka to the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after an alleged offer from DR Congo. Despite Wan-Bissaka’s eligibility for England, DR Congo aims to sway his allegiance, jeopardizing his availability for United during crucial fixtures.

This potential loss adds to Manchester United’s existing worries, as Sofyan Amrabat and Andre Onana are also expected to participate in AFCON, potentially sidelining them for up to four Premier League games, FA Cup fixtures, and UEFA Champions League clashes.

As Manchester United faces Everton, both teams grapple with uncertainties, with Everton reeling from a recent 10-point deduction and United navigating a turbulent season. The clash carries added weight as United could be missing key players due to international commitments, intensifying the challenge at Goodison Park.
