Paris St-Germain produced a dazzling attacking performance to sweep aside Bayer Leverkusen 7–2, maintaining their perfect record in this season’s Champions League group stage. The defending champions, who have shown inconsistency in domestic competition, were in unstoppable form in Germany, overwhelming the hosts with pace, precision, and flair.
PSG took control early, opening the scoring in the seventh minute through defender Willian Pacho. The Ecuadorian rose highest to meet Nuno Mendes’ superb in-swinging cross and powered his header past Mark Flekken to make it 1–0.

Vitinha continued the dominance in the second half, slicing through Leverkusen’s midfield to assist Mendes, who calmly fired in PSG’s fifth. Garcia offered a fleeting highlight for the home fans with a stunning 30-yard strike, but Ousmane Dembele—making his return from a hamstring injury—tapped in the sixth goal shortly after coming on.
Vitinha capped off a superb personal performance with a composed low finish in the 90th minute to seal the emphatic victory.
Despite their injury troubles and recent Ligue 1 slump, PSG have now won all three of their Champions League fixtures, reminding Europe of their quality and depth. The 7–2 demolition of Leverkusen sent a clear message: while domestic form may waver, PSG remain a formidable force on the continent.
