With the lockdown leading to the suspension of football activities in the French Ligue 1, let’s take a look at the best goals-to-minutes ratio in the 2019/20 season so far.

Statistics have revealed that 11 players in the French top-flight have so far scored ten or more goals in Ligue 1 Conforama.

The question is, who amongst the top ten are the most frequent scorers in terms of the minutes they have spent on the field? Let’s see.

The Ligue 1 leaders have the most potent attack in the top flight, which makes the capital to be in the thick of things here.

1. Mbappé
All thanks to Kylian Mbappé, who is on top of the goals chart with 18 goals. Those goals from the 75 the team has scored so far where scored in every 84 minutes.

PSG is followed in the goals chart by AS Monaco, which is behind by 31 goals so far despite having a bad start in the league. As at the moment, the goals-to-minutes ratio stakes for PSG is already 100 percent; meaning the french team has scored in all the games they have played this season.

With the current goal rate, Mbappé is the only footballer in the league that needs the least amount of playing time before finding the back of the net.

2. Neymar

Although, the Brazilian star has 13 goals so far in the current campaign after starting injured and not been on good terms with the club fans over his failed move to Barcelona. Neymar is the fifth-highest scorer in Ligue with his goals coming every 101 minutes on average.

3. Mauro Icardi

This is another PSG striker that has utilised the playing chances he was given on the pitch with 12 goals so far in the league that has come in every 105 minutes.

4. Wissam Ben Yedder

The AS Monaco striker is sharing the same number of targets with Mbappe, and he is among the players with the best goals-to-minutes ratio. His 18 goals have come from every 120 minutes of football action.

5. Moussa Dembélé

Lyon striker, Moussa Dembélé, makes the top five. He is currently Lyon’s top scorer in league with 16 goals, with each goal coming every 172 minutes.

6. Kasper Dolberg

The Danish striker is another successful player in Ligue 1 after joining Patrick Viera’s OGC Nice from Ajax Amsterdam. His goals 11 goals come from every 172 minutes.

7. Victor Osimhen
Lille striker, Victor Osimhen, settled into the team after moving from Belgium to lead the pack for them. The Nigeria striker, who has 13 goals so far in the league, scores a goal in every 176 minutes.

8. Habib Diallo
Metz’s Habib Diallo followed Osimhen with his goals, 12 goals coming in every 183 minutes.

9. Dario Benedetto

Olympique Marseille striker, Dario Benedetto, who has also found the back of the net 11 times, has an average goal rate of 192 minutes.

10. Denis Bouanga

The AS Saint-Etienne player ends the top ten with his ten goals coming in every 204 minutes.
