Werder Bremen are actively exploring a potential move for Bayern Munich youngster Arijon Ibrahimović as they look to bolster their attacking options. 

According to recent reports, the Bundesliga side has already made contact with the German champions regarding a possible loan arrangement for the highly regarded talent. 

However, any progress on the deal hinges on Werder first creating the necessary space within their attacking ranks.

There remains one significant obstacle to the transfer. Werder would need to successfully offload an existing attacking player before they could accommodate Ibrahimović in their squad. 

Until that departure materializes, the interest is expected to remain at an exploratory stage rather than advance to concrete negotiations.

Ibrahimović is held in high regard at the Weserstadion, with Bremen officials having closely monitored his progress during a productive loan spell at Heidenheim last season. 

The versatile attacker possesses the ability to operate effectively on either wing or in a more central midfield role, offering head coach Daniel Thioune valuable tactical flexibility and additional depth across several positions.

From Bayern’s perspective, both a temporary loan and a permanent transfer remain under consideration. 

The German champions had initially intended to retain Ibrahimović as part of their first-team plans but have since become more open to allowing him to depart. Sporting director Max Eberl has indicated that a sale could become viable should the right opportunity present itself for all parties involved.

While the interest from Bremen is genuine and the player’s qualities align well with the club’s needs, the requirement to first reshape the current attacking group means that any potential arrival of the Bayern prospect is far from certain at this stage.
