Kenan Yildiz said he has Juventus in his heart after signing a new long-term contract.
The winger also revealed that he had asked Dusan Vlahovic to stay, but the decision is not up to him.
This is expected to be like a new signing for the Bianconerri, who had snapped up the Turkish talent as a free agent through their NextGen youth team in 2022.
A few days after his 21st birthday, the Turkish international has become the key figure in the Bianconeri squad with a new deal that extends his stay at the club till June 2030.
He now wears the iconic Number 10 jersey, following in the footsteps of his hero Alessandro Del Piero.
Speaking at the presentation of the new 2026-27 Juventus jersey, the attacker said he has Juve in his heart.
Before this development, there had been reported interest from the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and more; he only has eyes for the Old Lady.
“I am very happy at this club. We want to repay all the affection shown to us by these fans,” he stated.
With this commitment, Juventus are also expected to move to Vlahovic, who will become a free agent next summer.
Juventus are also expected to commit the striker to a new deal, at least a short-term deal, and eventually make some amount from his future sales rather than lose him for nothing this summer.
This development is coming at a better time, as Juventus have leapfrogged AC Milan into third place and are just two points behind Napoli in second, with two games left to play.
Yildiz further said the Bianconerri must always aim for the maximum result as there is pressure from outside, but they are focused only on doing their best with the coach.
“The objective is always to do the best, so that means going into the Champions League, targeting second place.”
