Bradley claims seventh PGA victory at 2024 BMW Championship

Keegan Bradley emerged victorious at the 2024 BMW Championship held over the weekend at the picturesque Castle Pines Golf Club in Colorado. With a final-round score of even-par 72, Bradley finished the tournament at an impressive 12-under 276, securing his seventh career PGA Tour title and his second BMW Championship win, having previously claimed the title in 2018.

The final round was nothing short of thrilling, with Bradley facing stiff competition from a host of talented players. Sam Burns, Ludvig Åberg, and Adam Scott all finished just one stroke behind, making for an exhilarating finish that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

Bradley’s steady performance throughout the tournament was highlighted by his ability to maintain composure under pressure, especially during the final holes where every shot counted.

He started the day with a narrow lead but quickly found himself in a tight contest as Burns and Åberg made their moves. However, his experience shone through as he navigated the challenging course, showcasing his exceptional putting skills and strategic shot-making. His ability to stay focused and execute under pressure ultimately proved decisive in his victory.

This win not only adds to Bradley’s impressive resume but also significantly boosts his position in the FedEx Cup standings. With this victory, he moves up to fourth place, solidifying his spot in the upcoming Tour Championship. The win carries with it a sense of redemption for Bradley, who has faced ups and downs in his career, including struggles with consistency in recent years. It also boosts his profile as the 2025 Ryder Cup Captain for Team USA.

As Bradley prepares for the Tour Championship, he expressed his excitement and gratitude for the support he received throughout the tournament. “Oh, man, it just shows why you’ve got to grind it out every week because you never know how fast it can switch,” the 38-year-old said.

“Now I go to Atlanta with a chance to win the FedEx Cup. I can’t believe it. I’m so excited.”
