Raptors Run Riot as Barnes Shines; Thunder, Clippers Continue Strong NBA Form

The Toronto Raptors delivered one of the most dominant performances of the season, crushing the Orlando Magic 139-87 on Sunday. Leading the charge was Scottie Barnes, who recorded 23 points and a career-high 15 assists, marking his second straight double-double.

Toronto seized control early with a stunning 31-0 run in the first half and never looked back. Another devastating 17-0 burst spanning the third and fourth quarters pushed the lead to as many as 55 points, sealing Orlando’s worst loss in franchise history. RJ Barrett added a game-high 24 points, while eight Raptors reached double figures in a complete team performance.

The Magic struggled throughout, with Paolo Banchero limited to just nine points. Desmond Bane led Orlando with 17 in a night to forget.

Elsewhere, the Oklahoma City Thunder continued their red-hot form with a 110-100 win over the New York Knicks. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander starred with 30 points as the Thunder claimed their 14th win in 15 games. Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 32, but it wasn’t enough to prevent back-to-back losses.

The Los Angeles Clippers extended their winning streak to five games, defeating the Milwaukee Bucks 127-113. Bennedict Mathurin scored 28 points, while Kawhi Leonard added 20. Milwaukee, missing several key players including Giannis Antetokounmpo, slumped to a fourth straight defeat despite Gary Trent Jr.’s 36-point effort.

The Boston Celtics also impressed, beating the Charlotte Hornets 114-99 behind Jayson Tatum’s 32 points. Boston managed the win despite missing key players, with Payton Pritchard contributing 28.

In another high-scoring clash, the Indiana Pacers defeated the Miami Heat 135-118. Pascal Siakam led the way with 30 points and 11 rebounds, while Tyler Herro scored 31 for Miami in a losing effort.

The Portland Trail Blazers cruised past the Washington Wizards 123-88, powered by Toumani Camara and Scoot Henderson. Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets dominated the New Orleans Pelicans 134-102, with Alperen Sengun delivering a sensational 36-point performance.

Finally, the Brooklyn Nets snapped a 10-game losing streak by beating the Sacramento Kings 116-99, providing a rare bright spot in an otherwise difficult stretch.

Sunday’s action showcased both dominance and momentum shifts across the league, with several teams peaking at a crucial stage of the season.
