Toronto Raptors Finalize Darko Rajaković’s Coaching Staff for 2026-27 Season

The Toronto Raptors have finalized head coach Darko Rajaković’s coaching staff for the 2026-27 season, with Stephen Silas joining Pat Delany and Jama Mahlalela as assistant coaches on the front bench.

Silas arrives with extensive NBA experience spanning 25 seasons. He has served as head coach of USA Basketball through the 2025 and 2027 FIBA AmeriCup windows, compiling an 11-3 record and securing a bronze medal last August.

His most recent NBA role was as lead assistant coach with the Detroit Pistons in 2023-24. Silas previously spent three seasons as head coach of the Houston Rockets from 2020 to 2023 and has held assistant coaching positions with the Dallas Mavericks, Charlotte Hornets, Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers and New Orleans.

The Raptors have also promoted Matt Vest to assistant coach after he spent three seasons as an assistant video coordinator and player development coach under Rajaković. Before joining Toronto, Vest coached with Medi Bayreuth in Germany and the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He also played professionally in Germany for seven seasons.

Jeremy Castleberry is returning to Toronto for his second stint with the franchise. He was part of the Raptors’ championship-winning staff in 2018-19 before spending the following seasons as an assistant coach with the Los Angeles Clippers. Earlier in his career, he worked within the San Antonio Spurs organization.

Castleberry joins returning staff members Ivo Simović, Vin Bhavnani, Eric Khoury, Jim Sann and Mery Andrade.

Toronto has also added Stephane Ingo, Isiah Price and Aidan Wilson as video coordinators and player development coaches, joining Ike Azotam and Kareem Elliott.

Ingo previously spent two seasons with the Sacramento Kings organization, including time as an assistant video coordinator and coaching associate. The Mississauga native also played professionally with the Winnipeg Sea Bears.

Price arrives after four seasons with the Chicago Bulls, most recently working as Coordinator, Player Development. Before entering the NBA, he served as a graduate assistant coach at Northern Kentucky.

Wilson joins after four seasons with the Toronto Metropolitan University Bold men’s basketball team. The Vancouver native also played for Douglas College and the University of Fraser Valley before moving to TMU.

Felecia Brown will meanwhile return as Manager, Coaching Operations, entering her fourth season with the Raptors.
