Their most emphatic victory came in 2009 when Wayne Rooney, Jermain Defoe, Frank Lampard, and Peter Crouch were all on target in a 6-0 Wembley triumph under Fabio Capello.
Tuchel has named a 25-man squad for this international break, though midfielder Adam Wharton has withdrawn due to injury.
Key figures such as Harry Kane, Declan Rice, and Marcus Rashford are joined by younger talents including Eberechi Eze, Jarell Quansah, and Noni Madueke. Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ollie Watkins also return to the fold as England seek depth ahead of a packed schedule.
Elsewhere in the home nations, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland all begin their qualifying campaigns this week.
Wales face a crucial trip to Kazakhstan on Thursday as they look to keep pressure on Group J leaders North Macedonia, while Scotland open away to Denmark on Friday before hosting Belarus. Northern Ireland begin their Group A journey against Luxembourg before facing Germany in Cologne.
Sixteen European teams will ultimately secure places at the 2026 World Cup in North America. The 12 group winners qualify automatically, while the 12 runners-up, plus four Nations League sides, will battle in the play-offs.
