Massimiliano Allegri is Not Happy With the Juventus Hierarchy

Massimiliano Allegri begins his second stint as Juventus coach, but he is not happy with the decisions of the club’s hierarchy.

Allegri arrived at the Bianconeri to replace Andrea Pirlo. He, therefore, had to work with an inherited squad and was unable to make many player movements.

The 54-year-old coach was hoping to build his own squad for the 2021/22 season. One of the pieces Allegri was counting on to create his own sporting project was Cristiano Ronaldo.

But the Portuguese’s departure to Old Trafford has taken Allegri by surprise and left him extremely frustrated.

According to the Italian daily Il Giornale report, Allegri is furious with the club’s hierarchy and claims that president Andrea Agnelli and sporting director Federico Cheburini have failed to meet the agreed terms.

In an interview with DAZN, Allegri referred to Ronaldo’s departure.

“Cristiano spent three years at Juventus, he scored goals, which he is very good at, he’s an extraordinary player, but we cannot think about Ronaldo from now on,

“I have a fine squad, we simply must realise that we can’t just dominate every match. We need to come together and this will help us for the future. I am optimistic, always.” Allegri told and added.

“We must have the patience to take it calmly, play as a team and not try to resolve things as individuals.

“We can’t assume we will take the lead and control every game, we need the calm that a great team has, knowing we can overturn it.”
