After securing the signature of Moses Simon from FC Nantes, Paris FC are considering another addition to their attack as they are linked with Atalanta striker El Bilal Touré.
Paris FC, which recently got promoted to the Ligue, have the financial backing of their owners as they are determined to make a mark in the French top flight next season.
RMC Sports reported that they are exploring a move for the Malian international striker as they continue to bolster their frontline ahead of their return to Ligue 1.
Touré had found game time hard to come by at Atalanta, prompting a loan move last season to VfB Stuttgart, where he scored two goals in 12 Bundesliga games and a single goal in the UEFA Champions League.
Despite having an underwhelming campaign, the forward remains a high-value asset.
Atalanta could get a reasonable fee for the striker they paid €30m to sign from Almería in 2023.
It is reported that the Italian club could now be willing to sell for a reported €10-15m, and Paris FC has made contact.
The Ligue 1 club are keeping tabs on his situation as they are also monitoring Lucas Stassin of KVC Westerlo and Auxerre’s Gaëtan Perrin. However, the financial outlay required may prove prohibitive in signing these players.
If they succeed in signing the Maliamn, he is no stranger to Ligue 1. He had, during his tint with Stade de Reims, made 64 top-flight appearances between 2020 and 2022, scoring nine goals.
It will also be a good business for La Dea that may want to remove him from their book at get another enforcement that will complement Mateo Retegui or act as his understudy.
However, Touré might get game time with new manager Ivan Juric in charge after Gian Piero Gasperini left the team to join AS Roma.
The transfer window remains open, and any twist can happen before it finally closes.
