Paris FC manager Liam Rosenior described the win at the Velodrome as a perfect fit for Lassine Sinayoko, who netted a hat-trick in the Ligue 1 match.

Rosenior had a great game as his side won 3-2 at Marseille on Sunday evening, with all three goals coming from Sinayoko.

He’ll always remember that perfect match at a stadium he loves, where he also scored during his time at Auxerre.

“He contributes so much through his relentless pressing and effort. When you put in that kind of effort, you get rewarded,” the former Chelsea manager added.

Rosenior, who called winning at the Vélodrome a major milestone, is now focused solely on the next match in his coaching tenure at the club.

He added that he and his staff came to the club to build something and he’s not thinking past next weekend.

The gaffer, clearly thrilled to be working with them, said the team comes first and there’s a lot of potential here.

“What I really admire is how humble they are and how hard they work for the team,” he added.

Sinayoko is the first player in fourteen years to score a hat trick against Marseille at the Vélodrome.

The Malian international proved a smart move for Paris, who snapped him from AJ Auxerre for under €10 million. He’s scored four goals in just three Ligue 1 games already.

The win moves Paris into second in Ligue 1, behind AS Monaco, who beat defending champions Paris Saint-Germain.

The loss dropped Marseille to 10th place in the standings.

It’s also a solid beginning for Rosenior, whose time at Chelsea was unexpectedly cut short after failing to deliver results.

His successful stint at Strasbourg gives the club renewed hope this season, staying up or even earning a European spot.
