Real Sociedad are about to sign Carlos Soler from Paris Saint-Germain after reaching an agreement with the Ligue 1 giants.
The reigning European champions are also aiming to sign Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise.
L’Equipe claimed that Soler, a Spanish international, will join the Basque club this week following the end of his loan move to Premier League side West Ham United, as the Hammers opted against triggering the option to make the midfielder’s move permanent.
Napoli had previously shown an interest in the Spaniard as they also aim to bolster their squad for the season, which they already began with a 2-0 victory against Sassuolo.
Soler will be the latest member of PSG’s bomb squad to leave the club this summer, like Milan Skriniar, Nordi Mukiele, Renato Sanches, and Arnau Tenas before him.
The Spaniard joined the Ligue 1 champions from Spanish La Liga side Valencia in a €18m move, signing a five-year deal, which expires in 2027.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that PSG and Real Sociedad reached an agreement over a loan move with an option to buy. According to reports, the La Liga side expects the deal to be made permanent.
Meanwhile, PSG have identified Olise as a dream target.
According to Florian Plettenberg, Ligue 1 champions are monitoring the former Crystal Palace attacker with a view to a transfer in the future.
The 23-year-old attacker who has been linked with a potential move from the Bundesliga champions next summer is viewed as instrumental to Bayern Munich’s project under the management of Vincent Kompany.
Although the Bavarian giants are relaxed about the situation, as Olise remains committed to the club that has brought out the best in him.
A tempting offer from the European might be hard to turn down, and the decision of the midfielder could make a deal happen or not in the near future.
