The darkest hours of Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese professional soccer player, is considered one of the greatest players of all time. Not only is he a brilliant footballer with an impressive record of wins and achievements, but his physical ability and endurance are beyond what is expected from any human being. He stands out among his peers as one of the most physically dominant players in the sport.

Ronaldo’s career began at Sporting CP, and since then, he has grown to become a global icon for football enthusiasts around the world. His consistent success on the field makes him stand out from other players. He holds multiple records.

But it seems that Ronaldo has lost his magic and is in the darkest hours of his career.

After a scandalous break in relations with Manchester United, CR7 has lost its leadership role with the Portugal national team.

Having managed one goal in three appearances in the group stage, the Portugal star was benched for their last-16 clash against Switzerland, which surprised everyone.

In conversation with talkSPORT Breakfast, boxer Tyson Fury said that age has finally caught up with Ronaldo and that the player is at the end of his career.

“If you look at Cristiano Ronaldo, he’s 37 years old; he’s had the best doctors, the best physiotherapists; he’s lived like an egg in Mr. Kipling’s cake.

“But even Ronaldo is on the slide now, so even someone who has looked after himself like that, it catches up to you… so imagine a boxer who has been punched to pieces for the last 20 years.

“The age factor will not wait for anybody, no matter how you’ve lived.

“Whether you’ve never had a drink in your life if you’ve never run on any hard surfaces, no matter who you are, age will get you eventually.”
