Liverpool Faces Injury Crisis Ahead of FA Cup Clash

This blow is compounded by the uncertainty surrounding Wataru Endo, who left Wembley Stadium on crutches, wearing a protective boot, making his participation in Wednesday’s game doubtful.

Liverpool’s injury woes extend beyond Gravenberch and Endo, with Klopp revealing a dire situation for his squad. “We need miracles with a few players,” Klopp admitted, highlighting the precarious fitness of Darwin Nunez, Mo Salah, and Dom Szoboszlai, all of whom were absent in the final. The manager remains hopeful but cautious about their return, indicating a challenging period ahead as the team navigates through its compact schedule.

The severity of Gravenberch’s injury has been confirmed, with Klopp stating the midfielder will miss at least two games due to ligament damage. This is a significant setback for Liverpool, who are already without Trent Alexander-Arnold, Thiago Alcantara, and goalkeeper Alisson Becker, all key figures in the team’s quest for success across multiple competitions.
