Pioli: Every game now is a must-win

AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli has called on his players to return the team to where they’ve always been by continuing to improve the club’s position on the Serie A table.

The Rossoneri are currently on the run of three wins as they set to clash against Mario Balotelli-less Brescia tonight. The former Italian striker was red-carded in their last match against Cagliari ina match that ended 2-2.

He is therefore suspended for two games after receiving two yellow cards a few minutes he came on as a substitute.
Pleased with the team’s performance after the New Year break, the former Fiorentina coach has now said that every game must be treated as the most important as it is a must-win to help them climb further up the table.

While noting that the results have been positive, he said Milan must continue like that.
Speaking at a press conference, Pioli said the team still has a long way to go as nothing has been done yet, and they must concentrate on the next game.
While stating that the goal was to improve their position in the League, the manager, the best way to look at things is to take each match seriously and see where the club will be on May 24.

He also said that the players need to keep their heads screwed on and continue to develop, while they continue to strengthen the positive things they have done some things positive so far and improve on it.

While noting that Ballotelli is out of today’s encounter, Pioli still pointed out at Sandro Tonali, who was a menace against Cagliari, adding that he needs to be taken seriously in order not to punish his team ahead of the battle at the Mario Rigamonti.

He added that despite the absence of the lanky forward, Brescia is compact and dynamic, and he is expecting a determined performance from an opponent playing for a vital target-avoiding relegation.

Speaking on the impact Zlatan Ibrahimovic has made in the team, Pioli said he is not surprised at what the 38-year-old has brought to the team after his return during the winter.

He also revealed that Ante Rebic, who came off the bench to score a brace against Udinese, is in contention to start against Brescia.
AC Milan are priced at 1.78 to defeat Brescia, whie Brescia are set at 4.63 to upset AC Milan.
